December 22, 200223 yr Bruce! Thanks for fixing the speech speed for us Win ME-owners!Then, as I stated in my other thread, I am awfully sorry for my mistake! For some hours I gave credit to Scott for that solution. (Of course he has contributed so much already concerning RC.)But, you are the one who should be given credit for such a good work! I hereby hope that I have corrected my previous mistake!Haraldh Fhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg
December 22, 200223 yr Commercial Member yes bruce, thank you thank you thank youfunny how it worked outi went to the link that scott mentioned in his post, but it didn't work. so i googled, and found what i thought was a link to the same utility on another site.turns out that process viewer was better, and had more functionality, especially the ability to change priorities from the command line, which could be made into a batch file.good job everyone JD Read my blog

December 23, 200223 yr Can someone point me in the proper direction to speed up the sounds for Win98SE.Kenny G.
December 23, 200223 yr Look at the top of the forum. This is how to permanently speed up RC. Also look at a few messages under this one titled: "Thank you Bruce", specifically this addition: http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...ewmode=threaded
