I have a GF-P8 module (which is conveniently located just below my comm1 GF166A radio module) programmed to send the keyboard responses (menu choices) back to ATC. Works fine with the FSATC popup window but does not seem to work for the menu choices for RC3. Anyone else tried using GoFlight modules for reponding to RC3?rob gordon

what keystrokes are being sent to fs200x?

I assume just "1" "2" "3" -- since that's what FSATC gets. I can send this from the main keyboard. I'll have to check with GoFlight though to see if the GF-P8 is sending anything else.

Rob,I've recently bought the GoFlight GF-P8 unit and unfortunately there isn't an option to send a plain key command such as 1 or 2 etc. The ATC option 1 command is listed and as you say, can be assigned to a button.Until such time as GoFlight allow custom key assignments this isn't going to be available. If you have a programmable yoke (such as the CH yoke or Pro Throttle) you can assign these commands to buttons on one of those via FSUIPC. In fact, via FSUIPC you can assign many FS commands which can't be done within FS2002's assignments such as Kohlsmann + and - (for barometric adjustment on the altimeter).Cheers,

Good News -Just heard from Doyle at GoFlight. He is also an RC user and he is working on new key mapping software, hopefully for release in January, than should solve the problem of using GoFlight modules with RCv3 and other third party software.Rob
