RCV3 OTTO Missing Waypoints and circling back!

Featured Replies

Well, on multip[le occasions have I now flown flights in which Otto, when at the helm, will miss (not really misses, but fails to register that he/she flew right over it) and circles back several times until she's satisfied with the fact that she was right overhead it. Anybody having the same problem? If so, how does one remedy that? Also, can I fly in GPS mode without having Otto engaged and still get vactored into my destination?SP

i've never seen otto miss a checkpoint at 1x speed, with reasonable distances between checkpoints.otto can only fly nav style autopilot.

JD,Otto missed several checkpoints the other night. I had many add-ons running on my system that I normally have running via WideFS and RCV3 was running way behind, even set at high priority.Otto was turning to the next checkpoint 4 miles after the previous checkpoint and sometimes, turning back because the checkpoint was missed (even though it was actually passed). To get around the problem, I issued direct to next checkpoint commands.Needless to say, I've made sure my second computer is up and running again with WideFS and I haven't seen the problem since.Just thought you'd like to know Otto does miss checkpoints on overloaded systems, and the AdvDisp only updates once every 5 or 7 miles, if that often. ;-)Bruce
