Hi, I'm going to be buying RC when I can get some money to make several purchases. I just wanted to ask about RC.How far from the destination airport would I be able to find out what runway I will be landing on? I sometimes use ActiveSky and force weather to remain same 100nm out. Would this allow me, provided no weather or wind changes were made within 100nm to find out what runway so I can better prepare for approach?Also, what effect on the system (i.e. FPS, ect...) does RC generally have?Thanks,ChrisP4 1.8GHzGeForce Ti4600 128MB1 Gig RDRAMvarious pay ware add-on heavies and GAs.

about 60 miles away from the arrival airport, you can check the weather and get the runway in use. when you contact arrival, you will get the runway in use. and you can change the runway to whatever you want any time inside approach airspacerc runs outside of flight simulator, so the hit on framerates would be negligiblejd
