April 21, 200422 yr Hi,of course there are speedlimits in Europe but it is common practice to be cleared to an altitude below FL100 without speed limit (or a higher one then 250 knots).Recently a real life pilot in another forum stated "...most of the time we are allowed by ATC to maintain high speed...". I'm just wondering if this could be included in v4 ? :-)best regardsjanosch
April 21, 200422 yr Commercial Member in v3.x go to the options screen. set the 250 knot speed restriction altitude to 6000, or something else, that would meet your euro-environmentjd JD Read my blog
April 22, 200422 yr Author hi jd,okay but that would allow higher speeds in general between FL060 and FL100. Thats not how it is done in real life. In real life there is a generell speed limit 250@FL100 but in many cases ATC clears you to a given altitude (FL050, FL060, FL030 or whatever) without any or a higher speed limit. But there is no generell rule that matches all cases.Don't get me wrong, i use RC 3.1 on any flight and i'm very glad i bought it. But if it could get even closer to reality..... :-)best regardsjanosch
