Where does RC get it's callsigns and aircraft type from-1 Does it get them from the sim or2 Does it have it's own list?If 2 then is it possible to add a callsign to that list?Looking forward to any help here

Thanks for the reply I was probably confused by the pic in the manual showing numbers in the area for selecting callsigns on the options page. I was unsure whether callsigns such as Midland, Jetset, Virgin etc could be used. Any ballpark on v4 I'm looking forward to it?Regards

Midland and Virgin have been recorded for v4. Others (possibly including Jetset) will also be available when v4 is released. I don't know when it's due to hit the street but JD may.v4 will blow you away especially if you have a traffic addon such as Ultimate Traffic.Cheers,

Cheers Ray.It certainly would be nice if we had the callsigns for the larger charter airlines such as Jetset, Easy, Monarch et al but I suppose the same could be said for all other countries' charters - what a task.I do have UT plus lots of other flightplans so the promise of v4 is very tasty, I can't wait.If the appropriate callsign is not available what do you suggest as an alternative?Your comments will be most welcome.RegardsTony

Hi Tony,There are 4 Brits on the beta team including a real-world Air Traffic Controller and RCv4 does differentiate between US and European procedures so expect a high degree of realism wherever you fly.You won't need to do anything if the JetSet call sign is not available. The flight will be called by the first letter - Juliet in this case.Rest assured Easy and Monarch are recorded. We'll do our best to get as many recorded as possible but it does rely on the goodwill of the various controllers and pilots.A pilot set currently stands at 1,158 wavs and a controller set 1,256 wavs. It sounds a horrendous task to record a complete set but the software we use makes relatively light work of it. It took me around 3 hours - not bad when the result gives you a voice with a proper Limey accent ;-)Cheers,

Jetset isn't included. Easy is included. Monarch is already included in v3.
