Run time error '75': Path/File access error

Featured Replies

Run time error '75': Path/File access errorThat's the message I now get when I try to exit the Controller Info page, after which RC closes down. This happens whether I make any changes or not to the controller info. I've already loaded a flight plan before entering the CI page. If I skip Controller Info, RC continues on successfully.Versions I use:FSUIPC v3.30Adv Display v2.123WideFS 6.23WinXP with security service pack 2 installed on both computersFS2004RC3.1 runs on another computer from the FS computer using the above connections. I've just installed the Security update for WinXP on the computer running RC, but I've deactivated the Firewall and it and the FS computer.Bill

make sure you can read/write back to the fs machine's fs directory.

Is that the main FS2004 directory, or the directory with my flight plans?Bill

i'm pretty sure i need to write back to the my documentsflight simulator filesdo you have that shared?jd

JD,Yes, that directory is shared and I can write to it without difficulty. It's where I loaded the flight plan.Bill

I need to correct that last statement. I can read and load from that directory, but checking the Sharing privileges on the FS computer reveals that I can't write to it. I'll test it later and get back to you.Bill
