Hi JD,This has just happened the past 2 flights. Both flights weregoing into KEWR 4L. Both flights were forced to GA because oftraffic. Both times this happened I reduced traffic to get a cleaner approach. After the changes RC stopped responding aftermy parallel runway vector. Is there a way to reduce traffic on thefly without affecting RC?Thanks in advance

Hi there,Reducing the amount of traffic shouldn't affect RC, so something else must be causing the problem.How long did you wait for instructions from RC and how far away from KEWR did you get. It can take a while before the controller vectors you for the approach.All the best,John

Hi John,After the initial GA RC vectored me to the downwind leg. Afterreaching 22nm from KEWR I tried to request vectors for a IAP.RC was unresponsive to the request so I then requested landingclearance from FS ATC. I was cleared to 4R and landed. All thistime I never heard from RC. After shutdown I closed RC and gota program not responding note. Any ideas?

It has happened the last 2 flights into KEWR. That is my Hub.Each time it happened was after a GA for traffic on the runway.I get initial vectors to the downwind and then lose contact. Mostof the time 4R and 4L are used at KEWR. FS uses 4R and RC uses 4L.Trying to recall, it has happened a couple times before but can'tremember the airports. It's not a big thing to say it happens alot,but I wanted to know if changing the traffic slider after the GAwould have something to do with it?

It happened to me when I first started using RC. It would simply stop working during the approach phase about 40% of the time. Not sure what worked but this is what I did.Stopped using REGHEALER!!!!!!!!I docked ADVDISP on a hidden panel. When I need to see it, I simply pull up my apu panel on the DF 727.The big thing was not changing FS9 from fullscreen to window mode. I used to switch over so I could minimize FS and reload AS weather or whatever, then I would switch back to fullscreen. RC stopped working almost everytime.
