Question and advice

Got a question....When starting RC, and then checking ATIS, there seems to be 2 ATIS reports given at the same time. 2 different voices, a couple seconds apart, giving generally the same report. I have ATC in FS9 turned off and I don't load the plan through FS. Any ideas on what is causing this. I have the latest V3.1 2722 build with all (as far as I know) updated files installed from the website. And now for the advice....After getting your ground clearance...DO NOT hit the "1" key for acknowledge and contact. Hit the "7" for acknowledge ONLY!!! If you do hit the "1" key by accident, you have a couple choices...either start all over or just end RC when you arrive at your destination gate. DO NOT...i repeat...DO NOT hit the "flight critique" key. If you do...be prepared!! That S.O.B. will rip you a new one!!! What a Jack@#s!!! He will cut you absolutely NO slack!!!You have been warned.....Mike

I don't think turning FS9 ATC off does anything about it. Just go into the radio panel and select Comm 2 as the radio to transmit on, then tune it to a frequency FS9 would never use (121.5 works), as you will sometimes fly within range of an FS9 controller using the default Comm 2 frequency.Mark Kuebeler
