AI Taxi Speed for FS9 Here

Featured Replies

Ken Salter's FS Configurator version 1.5 freeware has been released. Due to upgrade #### time constraints, I only installed the program and used his Taxi Speed tool which modifies the .dll that concerns this. I have not had time to plane spot. It is on AVSIM and Flightsim. There are two parameters. One is taxiway speed and the other labeled Land-Taxi I would expect to be runway exiting. Why post here? In dense situations getting go-arounds for you or AI causing string of pearls situations due to slow exiting of AI off runways will be alleviated somewhat by this utility.I'm still on W98SE (working on migrating) and it works on that platform just fine. It detected FS9.1, don't know about 9.0 but I suspect it would be OK.He maintains a support forum for his utilities (like FS Autostart). The zip is only 202KB.Now, JD, since this only modifies the .dll this should not interfere with your V4 plans, right?

Hi there,jd's just headed off for a well earned vacation for a few days, doubtless he'll drop in when he can ;-)I adjusted the taxi speeds a couple of days back and haven't had any problems with v4 so far :-)All the best,John

BTW, I did set the taxiway speed down a bit from the recommended 30. Looking across the gates it looked like horses being released from the starting gate. The recommended setting for landing-taxi works well though.
