As you know I have been using RC products for quite awhile now. With the exception of getting a 15-20 mile downwind in the Cessna 172 (lol - yes I know we have been around that bush JD - no problem), I have truly enjoyed and respected this product. I look forward to the upcoming new release. However, one item seems to come up, not often but enough for me to comment on. Here is the scenario; I have 'vector for traffic' one notch below 0 (thus the minimum vectors while still having some), it seems I will get the traffic vector call while I am in a waypoint turn. This leads to confusion for both me and the RC controller. Here's is the deal, I am flying say heading 090, next waypoint is a turn to 040, I hit that point then begin turning thru say 070. ATC at that point then tells me turn left 15 for traffic?? Huh, so I set the bug at 025 (15 off the roll out heading) then get slammed by ATC. OK, next time I set heading to 075 (15 off original heading), again, not liked by ATC. ATC will come back and tell me (rudely) hey, fly 065 (or some other variable heading) like I said!I dont know, maybe RC can proximity check the waypoints and inhibit traffic vectors.Just a thought, thanks for reading.
