December 1, 200520 yr Hello Everyone:)This has likely been answered before, but I am unable to find the answer. When we install R.C. Version 4 will we have to unstall Version 3.1 or simply install V.4 and leave V.3.1 on our computer.Tks. for any replys.Kenny G.
December 1, 200520 yr Commercial Member v4 is a new directory, a new set of wavs in a winwood directory, new data files in a data directory, etc.you can certainly have both on the same machine. but v4 is bigger than v3, both in the number of voice sets, and in number of wavs per voice set.so i would uninstall v3, prior to installing v4. and it probably wouldn't hurt to do a defrag after the v4 installjd JD Read my blog
December 1, 200520 yr Does this also apply for the "upgrade" version, should we un-install then re-install, or must you have V3 installed for the upgrade to work?ThanksPaul C.
December 1, 200520 yr Commercial Member v1, v2, v3 do not have to be on the machine for the upgrade to work.upgrade is kind of a misnomer. it's really an upgrade price for v4.the bits are the same between v4 upgrade and v4. the cd is identical. i have to have two product id's 1 for 44$ the other for 34$jd JD Read my blog
