December 9, 200520 yr Hi there,RC will interact with military ai in the same way it does with civilian ai, no problem there. The military traffic will be recognised and interacted with.In terms of call-signs, however, what you hear depends whether we recognise the 'atc_airline' as defined in the aircraft.cfg file. For a lot of the more common military ones we would use the callsign 'air force'. If we have missed important ones out they could easily be included (with the callsign air force) once we know what they are.All the best,John
December 10, 200520 yr There are actually a few military callsigns that we included, or callsigns military aircraft we thought are likely to use, such as AUSSIE, STALLION, VIKING, ZEBRA, ZIPPER, and ENVOY. These and couple others will be voiced correctly.A much bigger task we undertook was to recognise more of these above mentioned types of callsigns (aka military), and made sure they will atleast be voiced as AIR FORCE. So if you happen to have military aircraft flying under callsigns like, FORT, FOX, CRUSADER, FIREBALL, KNIGHT, RAZORBACK, SHADOW, GOOSE, etc, you'll hear RC refer to them as AIR FORCE. And there is a tonne of those, too many to list. And then there are a few miltary VIP callsigns, like the above mentioned AUSSIE and ENVOY, and also SINGA for example. These of course are hard to come by and verify so we had to settle for AIR FORCE for most of them. And that's Military Callsigns 101 :()Subs
