December 10, 200520 yr Just need to know if it's possible to add callsigns and ICAOs by combining wav files? I have a lot of customised locations as does a group I work with - I'm quite happy playing around and combining files but need to know if the file structure of RC4 will allow 'new' files to be added and identified in this way. Otherwise I'm apoised with my credit card for today/tonight.Thanks.
December 10, 200520 yr Commercial Member yes, that would work. and hopefully you can share your work with others by uploadind your work to the avsim library. send me a copy, and i'll integrate them into the next cd image i burn, when the first 3000 run out.for instance, if you wanted to make an airport name of KXYZ, and the file would contain a wave of "x" and "y" and "z" - and you edited them together so it sounded like "x y z", just call it KXYZ, and drop each one of them in the corresponding winwood directories. (in other words, take ray's "x" and "y" and "z", and put KXYZ in ray's folder). you would have to do that with each pilot, chatter pilot and controllercallsigns are a little trickier. i suggest you backup your c4.csv file before starting. and you will need to send me your new c4.csv file - because if i change something, and make it available for update by "check for updates" button, your changes will be wiped outthe format of the c4.csv file isbriteuro, jersey,British European,0, 0 briteuro is what i will see via fsuipc. jersey is the file name i will play when i see a briteuro fsuipc entry. british european will be what appears in the airline drop down list under the general optionsjd JD Read my blog
