December 16, 200520 yr Is the RCv4 ground controller merely a dummy controller who does not interact with AI traffic?I am just asking, because last night an AI plane sidesweeped me, which was very frustrating after more than half hour of flight prep. If so, this would be a MAJOR feature on my wish list, along with taxi instructions. Otherwise ground would be totally unless IMHO.At least MSATC would tell me to hold to avoid any collisions.Cheers,Pat
December 16, 200520 yr Hi there Pat,See my reply in the thread http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=14033&page=3Basically that level of ground interaction is still on the to do listAll the best,John
December 16, 200520 yr Author Would that be something that we can expect with an RCv4 patch or do we have to wait another 2 years? (little irony, no pun intended).I would definitely mark that as a priority, because from what I can see and hear at this point there is nothing seriously bugged or flawed with the in-air ATC. Handling arcraft around at the ground also a huge part of any real ATC and, when it comes to aircraft safety, an often very overlooked and important part. Thanks!Pat
