Featured Replies

I have RC4 installed on a network PC running Widefs.I have run the makerwys.exe ok on the Flightsim PC but when i click on the Launch RC4 icon i get the following message:Runtime Error 5RadarContact.rcv4module.get_fspathThe program will not open at all, not been able to get into the main screen to send for key file.Any Ideas ?Thank you for your helpAndy C

Hi Andy,I think that's probably one for jd!Just to get straight what happened: did you have to copy the makerwys.exe from your widefs machine into the FS folder on your main machine? In other words where did the initial install of RC put the makerwys.exe file? You then try and run RC4.exe from the RC4 folder on your widefs machine and the error message comes up.All the best,John

Thanks for the reply John,i did exactly as you have stated, installed RC4 onto client machine then copied the markerwys.exe into my Fs9 folder on the server Pc.i then ran the markerwys.exe from within Fs9 folder. This went thru the process and reported everything ok, I have Fs9 running with the ADV display on the server pc, start widefs on the client PC with it connected to Fsuipc, then when i click on RC4 icon it comes up with the box as stated previously.I have the Fs9 folder and Flightsim folder within My documents where the Flightplans are saved shred over the network.Any help would greatRegardsAndy C

Hi Andy,Sorry, I'll definitely have to wait for jd to come in on this one.One thing that might help, can you remember exactly where the makerwys.exe was created by the installer on you widefs machine (was it in the root C: folder or elsewhere). All the best,John

John, the markerwys.exe was installed into the Root C:folder, i then copied this across to the Fs9 folder on my Server PC.Thanks for your helpAndy C
