December 22, 200520 yr I have just received and installed RC 4, everything run well till the point I tried to load an FS plan. At that point RC gives me an error: RUN TIME 53, missing departur gate (or something like that). I tried several time but nothing has changed, the error is still there.Anybody has experienced the same?Thank you Pap
December 22, 200520 yr Hi Pap,I haven't seen that one. jd will probably ask you to sent the plan to him so he can check what's happening so keep it safe. All the best,John
December 22, 200520 yr Commercial Member what have you entered on the controllers page for your departure gate? leave it as blank, and try again.jd JD Read my blog
December 22, 200520 yr Author The error message is:Run-time error '53':RadarContact.rcv4module.get_departure_informationThanks for the answer.Pap
December 22, 200520 yr Hi jd,If I understand correctly the problem is occuring when the 'FS200x Flight Plan (*.pln)' button is used, not the 'Start RC' button. All the best,John
December 22, 200520 yr Author Yes correct. I cannot access the start button when I launch rc. The botton is unavailable.
December 22, 200520 yr I had this problem after running the update database. Same error code and same message.I reinstalled RC4, did not run update database and it worked fine. Not sure if it is the update database thatr casued it - but I don't want to run it again until necessary (i.e. another problem occurs). The error comes up when trying to load the fs200x filght plans.
December 22, 200520 yr Hi there,Thanks, that jogged my memory.Someone else had this problem and, again, a reinstall did the trick. The problem seemed probably to be some corrupted files in the rcv4data folder. So I suggest1. Re-install2. Backup the data folder3. Run the rebuild scenery DB routine.Hopefully it will now work correctly. All the best,John
December 23, 200520 yr Author Thank you for the answers, I reinstalled RC4 and now it works, but I haven't rebuilded the DB.Pap
December 23, 200520 yr Hi Pap,That's good news :-)The rebuild should be fine but it might be safest to backup the a4.csv and r4.csv files in your rc4data folder before doing it. These are the files that get changed with a scenery rebuild. All the best,John
