December 23, 200520 yr In FS you can press the ' key and the ATC box can be displayed or not. Is there any way to assign a key to make the Radar Contact box display or not? At the moment its just always on my screen.
December 23, 200520 yr Hi,If you go to the fs menu bar, modules, fsuipc then choose the hotkeys tab from the fsuipc options you should find you can assign a hot key to toggle advdisplay on and off.All the best,John
December 23, 200520 yr The registered version of FSUIPC will let you do that.Or do what I do - dock the Adven. display to a 2D panel - I fly VC and only go to @D if i can't read an ionstrument or need to see the Adven. display. You get used to the keys anyway (for me acknowledge is always CTRL+7 and contact is always CTRL+1, etc.I manually switch frequencies using FS Passngers - so I have auto switch frequencies turned off in the options. For other keys I don't use too much (like emergency), I'll switch to @D to see the adven. display to find the right key combinations.
December 24, 200520 yr Hi,I have the AdvDisp window docked to a 2D sub-panel (normally radios but depends on the asthetics) it is then invisible until that window is opened-this also seems to give a slight FPS boost on a slower systemBest WishesAshley Sear(G4MGD-Licensed since 1981)http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannerbeta.jpg
December 24, 200520 yr Commercial Member i've also done that on the master annunciator panel. i don't want to see all those red lights. :-)push the button to brink it up, advdisp comes up.but my preferred method is to make a fsuipc hotkey to display/hide advdisp. ironically, i use the ` key :-)jd JD Read my blog

December 24, 200520 yr Hi Bob,fsuipc seems a bit like a swiss army knife. You wonder what all the bits are for then, when you need one, you're really glad you've got it :-)All the best,John
