January 3, 200620 yr Hi Igor,I flew this again with a pressure of 1009 set. Again when contacting approach the first instruction was to fly 015.I was a bit late responding and this time I was just intercepting the GS when given the turn onto the localiser (about 17 miles from LIME) - so I had to start descending at that point to stay on the GS. No major problem but definitely a bit tight!Clearly the geometry of this approach is such that any delay in that 015 heading being given can bring you onto the localiser a bit close in. I'll only give the controller 7/10 for that approach ;-) All the best,John
January 3, 200620 yr Author Thank you for your observations. I think i'll use notam "trick" to avoid the problem. I tried a couple of IAP approach to lime (ILS-Papa Rwy 29. a nice 15 DME arc from ORI-VOR, localizer interception at 13 miles, 4000 feet); no problem at all. I have jeppesen sid/star/enroute charts, and all the available italian freeware and payware scenery airports :-) Igor Igor Bischi
January 3, 200620 yr Author In my case it was 5/10 :)Next time i'll try a very fast turn to 015.Igor Igor Bischi
