JD, Guys have a minor question

Featured Replies

I decided this past weekend to start around the world in the Flight1 727. I've seem to have lost the vectors to the ILS. Three flights now in KLAX-PAKT-PABE I had no ATC at all below 10,000ft until I was cleared to land, I set up on the ILS with no approach vectors at all. At LAX I flew over the airport thinking I was going to get some vecotrs but never did, turned around and landed. On all previous RC4 flights I always had vectors and was told what runway to expect.Am I missing something here???Thanks

i'd have to see the .pln'sare you asking for an iap approach each time? if so, you're on your own. there will be no vectorsjd

JD,No especially in the case of LAX I just kept going, I got no ATC below maybe 10000ft. until I flew over the field and turned around. Last night into PABE I did ask for the IAP because I was 12nm from the airport and had not been given any intructions.I create my flightplans in FSbuild, and do it pretty much like you have it in the manual.Maybe I just need to be a bit more patient and LAX was just a fluke deal.I'll let you know after a few more flights, if I am missing something simple let me know.

i can't think of any case where you would over fly the arrival airport. there is something wrong. send me the .pln you are using, and i or a beta tester will fly it, and see what is going on.jd
