RC4 not halting AI traffic

Featured Replies

I do not know if this topic was covered ... I may not be understanding the interaction of RCV4 with AI traffic but I am on the glideslope and notice that AI traffic still taxi's onto the active runway when I have been cleared to land.I can understand getting a go-around if a plane hasn't cleared the runway but I can see the AI aircraft taxi-ing onto the runway when I am about 2nm out and thus I get a go-around.Any ideas? Thanks,

it's all a matter of timing. if he has started taxiing onto the runway, it's better to let him go, and try to take off, than to freeze him on the runway. either way, it's a go around for you.i'd be interested in seeing a log, if this is commonplace.jd

Yes, this has happened on several occasions. What log file do you need to see and where it is located? Thanks,

Hey Jerel. Nice looking machine (Hypersonic_Cyclone_OCX_Limited_Edition)!! Keep the cooling system working or it might light your desktop on fire.

Are you embellishing or have you had this happen? ;) When I first got the system I had to send it back because the cooling system went bad. Haven't had any problems since and hopefully I won't.Thanks for the compliment!

lauch rc, click debug. load the .pln, set your rc options, then start rc.fly your flight. if it happens again, quit rc after landing, zip up the .log file, and send it to [email protected]
