Further UK airports and extra callsigns available

Featured Replies

Well after 7 (yes seven) attempts I finally got my second set of UK airports and extra callsigns file uploaded.Strangely when I tried uploading it to FS2004 Sounnds it failed - so eventually it went into the Miscellaneous section. The following new airports are included:EGFF CardiffEGPH EdinburghEGDP Portland CoastguardEGPD AberdeenEGPK PrestwickBoth Edinburgh and Aberdeen proved diffcult to sound correctly and because of this they are included in a separate zip file within this one.The following new callsigns are included:HELIMED - UK HEMS for the helicopter freaksNOR SHUTTLE for Mike AckermanSHUTTLECRAFT for Bill MRED (abreviated callsign for the UK Red Arrows aerobatic team)RED DRAGON - Air WalesGEMSTONE - Emerald AirwaysJET SET - First Choice (formerly Air 2000)THOMSON - ThomsonflyPOLICE - UK Police forces helicoptersAIRMED - Air MedicalBRITISH NORTH - British North West AirlinesIn addition, entries for MAERSKAIR Maersk Air and BLUESTAR Maersk Air (UK) which were originally included with RC4 but which don't appear to have been included in the c4.csv file are included. Finally after I'd gotten the file to upload I discovered that the c4.csv file I'd been using was out of date, so I uploaded an updated file.File names are:UK_Airports_and_callsigns_2.zip and c4.zipEnjoy.

Hi,Thanks for doing these they are much appreciated.I was wandering if you were taking requests or you would consider adding an airport to your next list of call signs as I would like a call sign for EGJB, Guernsey in the channel islands. I fly in and out of this small airport all the time. Thanks in anticipationIan

LOL - actually I did try to get Guernsey to sound something like half understandable but it sounded pretty awful. I'll have another go and let you know.

I must admit when you think about it, the word Guernsey must be pretty difficult to perfect.CheersIan
