Give up for Tonight!

Featured Replies

I'm sur I'll get it to work sometime but 2 hours trying is enough for tonight!!I follow all the instructions for creating the flp in FS Build - the plan appears because I get the message that the plan has been successfully created - however - when I go to start RC4 there is no sign of the flight plan. This is very exasperating but if anyone can help that would be great - if not it's another 2 hours tomorrow night!!KFD

KFD,I am at work right now, but I can go from memory a bit. Have FSbuild buld a .RTE plan same type of format that FS9 build plans. Those type of plans or sent to your My Documents folder and I think the folder is callled FS9.When you start RC4 point it to that My Documents folder, find the plan you want and your up and going. That's the I'm at work version, it might be lacking some but that should get you going.

where does fsbuild put the .pln file?wherever that is, navigate to it from the load a .pln screen in rcjd

Vollmey and jd,Thanks for the info - I'll set to tomorrow and try again. Would love to get it right as I've seen so much good stuff written about RC4. Just like everyone says - its a steep learning curve but worth it in the end!Kev

Yes, .PLN not .RTE that's something else. Kev, point RC4 when your click on the .PLN button on RC4 to "My Documents/Flight Simulator Files"Then find your flight plan and your off and going.
