A couple of odd things have been happening since I updated to 4.01. First thing is that after getting clearance I get told "read back correct" before the read back has even begun. The next thing is that I can no longer hear the approach ATC voices. If it were not for my co pilot repeating everything back I would not know what my instructions had been. Basically I have no more ATC Voices once I'm passed off to approach because even my clearance to land is repeated by my copilot without my ever having heard it given. I've checked my voices set up several times and it all appears to be in order... but something is amiss. Any ideas?William Shedd

sounds like (no pun intended), you don't have any controller's selected, or your winwood2 - winwood31 folders are empty.if you launch rcclick debugload your .plnclick start rcduplicate the problemfinish your flight, zip up the .log file, and send it to [email protected] with a description of the problem you are having. i should be able to tell what is going ondo you have an integrated sound, or a sound card?jd

Just checked the winwood 2 and 31 folders. I have ray proudfoot sound files in the 2 folder but you were right.. 31 is empty. Dean Barry is supposed to be there but there is currently nothing in folder 31 but the flag and 15v4.txt files. Dean Barry is checked as a contoller in the voices section and when I click on the box with his name on it to test the voice speed He talks. That's confusing... Will unchecking Dean fix it? I forgot to mention that I'm running RC4 on another computer via FSWide in case that makes any difference. I'm getting ready to start another flight so I'll let you know how it comes out with Dean unchecked as a controller.William Shedd
