I do however have a question regarding procedures.Is it possible to depart an airport VFR and request your clearance while airborne in RC. July 19, 200619 yr RC does not permit filing in-flight or requesting flight following.It has been posted that it is on the wish list for future versions.There are provisions for filing from the ground at an uncontrolled airport (a telephone call to FSS is simlulated) after which you will be given a drop-dead time to contact ATC on departure in the air.
