Heavy jet speed restriction waiver

Featured Replies

Hi all,I must be missing a step somwhere here. I file as a heavy jet and after departure, due to the heavy loading, I need to exceed 250knots to keep out of trouble. Trouble is, I can't find the option to request the restriction waiver. I'm sure it used to be accessible through the ADVdisp window after departure?Any ideas?

I know of the non-faa airport waiver, but 747's and I guess A340's as well will often need to accelerate to a speed higher than 250 knots if heavily loaded, there was a way to achieve this at an FAA airport. I do recall there being an option somewhere once in the sim itself to request a waiver.
