September 21, 200619 yr I am having problems with the attached flight from KIND to KMSP. I included both the .pln and .rc4 because I don't know which would be more useful. Here's the problem: Everything goes fine until I get into my descent and am told to change to Minneapolis ATC on 124.40. Then my FS9 does a CTD and I am told it is caused by ATC.dll.Here is the flight file in .zip format... http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/156862.zipI know this has been addressed on numerous other posts and I have tried everything listed before. I have turned on FS ATC but turned the volume down, added the "RemoveATC=Yes" to my FSUIPC.ini file, and I tried changing the frequency of Indianapolis ATIS. None of these worked!Anybody know how to fix this???
September 21, 200619 yr The latest...3.7 registered.I also just sent you the log file for the latest crash.
September 22, 200619 yr Moderator Hi,This is almost certainly related to a clash of frequencies between the departure and arrival airports. I was able to reproduce an ATC.DLL bug when switching to a frequency when nearing EGLL on a flight from Rome (LIRF). I can't remember the exact point as it was some time ago.The log should provide the info and if this is the problem then it's only preventable if you change certain frequencies at either of the two airports. Pete Dowson was able to trap and fix some ATC.DLL issues but not all of them.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). September 23, 200619 yr Commercial Member ok, all of the usual suspects have been covered in this thread. most times fsuipc 3.70 fixes the problem with atc.dll crashes.jd JD Read my blog
September 24, 200619 yr Have you added the following line to the [General] section of your FSUIPC 3.70 FSUIPC.INI file? RemoveATC=YesThis line enables the atc.dll patch that prevents FS from crashing.Cheers,Sandy
