September 26, 200619 yr Dear All:I LOVE RC. However, I am having a problem - the background chatter is way too loud when I am using FS2Crew for the PMDG 737. I can barely hear the Pilot & F/O dialogue when the background chatter .wav files are playing. Is there a way to globally lower the volume of these files to a lower level. I LOVE the .wav files, as they are real recordings, but at this volume, it is hard to fly with them. Finally - is there a way to have RC direct me to the gate after I land? It seems that after I leave the runway after touchdown I get no options to taxi to any gates. Any ideas?Chris Catalano
September 26, 200619 yr Commercial Member at the moment, you have to change the volume controls in fs9, make them louder and/or softer to make them sound the right level with rc. then change the master volume of your speakers, to make everything the right volume.you're not going to get progressive taxi instructions, but you can specify the gate you want to be told to taxi to, on the controllers page of rcjd JD Read my blog
September 27, 200619 yr Author But none of the settings in the FS menu need to be lower - the problem is not with the FS settings but with not being able to hear the FS2Crew addon wave files. There is no master volume for those - and no master volume for the RC wave files - so what could I lower in the FS menu that would make any difference? Chris
September 27, 200619 yr Commercial Member the master volume on the system tray.you say rc is too loud. what i'm trying to describe is how to make everything as loud or louder than rc, and then lowering all the volumes with the sound volume control of windows.jd JD Read my blog
September 27, 200619 yr Author I get it - but there is likewise no way to make FS2 Crew any louder - so I am in the same boat. The problem is that - proportionally speaking, the level bewteen RC & FS2Crew cannot be adjusted manually. Fs2 Crew is not one of the programs that can be raised like all the other items with sound in FS9.Chris
