This weekend I departed La Paz in the PMDG 744 using RC V4.2. The controler told me to climb and maintain 3000ft, the problem with this of course is that the elevation of the airport is 13,300ft. I tried the takeoff twice with the same results. I am not sure if this is just an annomaly with the program or if there is something else I should be doing for a high altitude airport. thanks!!

that's wierd. have you "rebuild scenery database" in rc?if you can duplicate the problem, i'd love to see it. follow the instructions pinned to the top of the forum, and send the .log to [email protected]

Thanks JD - I will rebuild the dbase and then if it happens again I'll send you the log. I may not get to it till the weekend though.
