Thanks for the info.Regarding #3You say the ADVDISP box has been replaced with a more modern transparent version. Is this in the current release of RC or is this in the beta you are working with?

Download the current FSUIPC 3.72 and install fsuipc.dll in the modules folder after renaming the present one to fsuipc.dxx as a backup. I'd also copy to a safe folder your current fsuipc.ini and if you a .key file that also.Rename advdisp.dll to advdisp.dxx.Start FS. From the FS menu modules drop down click on FSUIPC to open it and select the general tab. Check the multiline text box. That should give you the new transparent window when RC activates it. It resembles in appearance the FS ATC window.This will work with current V4 versions. It is function within FSUIPC that replaces the old box.The link for FSUIPC is pinned to the top of the forum.

I can't actually try this becauses I don't have RC. I was just getting info to help me decide to buy or not. Or closer to the truth, to help me decide to think about buying or not.Thanks very much for the info though. I will hang onto this if I decide to get it. If I do it will probably be a month or two from now though.

I just purchased RC. The newer dialog box is much better, it is semi transparent like the default FS9 ATC dialog box.I run AS, FDC, FSC and have no problems.Jeff

Do you have the registered version of FSUIPC? If not, are you able to make the box appear/disappear with a keyboard function like the default ATC box?
