February 28, 200719 yr I'm a prospective RC4 buyer. Unfortunately my computer drives are partitioned and I am relatively low on drive space for c: and want to keep as much off it as possible. Can RC4 be installed on a drive other than c:? If so, are there still files that will be installed on c:, and, if so, what is the total size of files installed on c:?Thanks for your help.
February 28, 200719 yr Hello>Can RC4 be installed on a drive other than c:? Yes, even on another computer if you want and if you have WideFS> If so, are there still files that will be installed on c:, and, if so,>what is the total size of files installed on c:?I think the only files installed on c: are Visual Basic runtimes if you don't already have them... really small filesVincent Vincent Caudron
February 28, 200719 yr Everything in RC is in one folder with sub folders that you can place on any drive local or via WideFS (not supplied). During installation you will define the path to your version of FS which can be on another drive/partition. You will also define where your flight plans are located and where your flight states are stored. In not already installed, FSUIPC and the few files it creates, very small, will be placed in your FS modules folder. The small VB runtimes already described and an .ocx driver, again fairly small, if not in your system will be placed in a sub folder of Windows.
