March 1, 200719 yr Hi,Just installed RC4 and have installed the reg key, I got the MSSTDFMT.DLL error but I have managed to overcome this thanks to the FAQ's however I am having a problem with the Adv display, when I go to the modules tab and select ADV display the display appears very briefly - I am unable to resize or right click on the display and now my ALT key function does not work. When I move the cursor around the area where the display should be I do get the resize arrow and can then resize the 'invisible' ADV display however no matter what I try I cannot right click to dock the display ( no drop down menu appears). Can anyone help. Thanks,Phil McAlpine

March 2, 200719 yr Hi JD, Ok, I've did this and now there is no option for ADV in the modules tab , I assume this is expected though I am unsure as to how FSUIPC will display the menu's.I fly a PMDG 744 with British Airways Virtual using their OSP software, this can convert flight plans into many different formats , once I get the display working am I able to create a flight plan using BAV OSP, convert it to FS2004 and then reconvert it to PMDG for loading the FMC ?.Thanks,PM

March 3, 200719 yr jd,I am also having similar problems, have yet to get RC4 to run on FS9 using the RC window. Followed the above instructions and the window will now come up when I press alt key but as soon as try to move, resize or do anything with the window the system crashes and FS disappears. I have uninstalled, reinstalled and the reg key seems to still be accepted, but don't know if that may be the problem. I have the CD version 4.2.383Thanks,Larry

March 4, 200719 yr jd,I had the current FSUIPC installed already, but I downloaded a new one using your link and installed it over the one I had. No change, as long as I don't try to move or alter the window in the default location (upper left) the program seems to work OK. Not a very satisfactory situation.Larry

March 4, 200719 yr jdSo far I have found that RC, (to my surprise) works in FSX fine and that I am having problems with moving ANY of the sub panels on FS9, the program just crashes. There does not seem to be a way to uninstall v4.2 only and not v4.3 to see if that might be at fault some how. I have tried loading an older version of FSUICP and that did not help. I hate to undo something that works, but may uninstall RC and see if that makes any difference. Don't want to think about it, but may have to uninstall FS9 and start over. Larry
March 5, 200719 yr Hi, I have a similar problem but don't seem to have solved it from the forum so far. When I click on modules, the only drop down I get is FSUIPC, no AdvDisp. I have checked the box as suggested above but no further progress.Help would be appreciated.MalSorry, think I have sorted. Will report further if still have probs. Cheers.
