  1. Qas, if I might add to jds response, a step that he helped me with. You can start RC at any time, but don't go beyond that until you have started FS and loaded the default flight, whatever it may be, by hitting the fly now button, once you have the default flight loaded go back to RC, either start it or return to the already running program and then load the RC rcd. that you want to run. To switch between programs it helps to be in windowed mode, if you do not usually use this feature you can get into and out of windowed mode by pressing the ALT+Enter keys together. Hope this helps.Regards,Larry MoBo nvidia 680 SLIRAM 2-1 Ghz pc 800 DDR 2CPU Intel Q 6600 quad core 2.4 GhzGPU nvidia 8800 GTS OCOS XP SP3FSX SP2
  2. I definitely vote to see more of your work, hope you will be able to get the OK and it will be FSX compatible.REgards,LarryMoBo nvidia 680 SLIRAM 2-1 Ghz pc 800 DDR 2CPU Intel Q 6600 quad core 2.4 GhzGPU nvidia 8800 GTS OCOS XP SP3FSX SP2
  3. The flight file has been sent directly to you. Regards,LarryMoBo nvidia 680 SLIRAM 2-1 Ghz pc 800 DDR 2CPU Intel Q 6600 quad core 2.4 GhzGPU nvidia 8800 GTS OCOS XP SP3FSX SP2
  4. OK, I'll get that done this weekend.Regards,Larry
  5. JD, the loading problem occurs whether I am running an addon aircraft, scenery or something like Cockpit Chatter. Today as a test I started FS created a flt plan using FS (normally I use FS Commander) with a default aircraft and nothing running in the back ground. Started RC loaded the flt plan and started FS. Got my clearance and then saved the flt and closed everything. Restarted FS loaded the saved flt. started RC and loaded the rcd, same results, long wait (50-60secs) the "unable to load..." clicked OK and FS came up with RC running at the point I had saved. Even tried starting FS and then trying to load the saved flt using RC, which I thought you should be able to do,but had to load the flt using FS and then RC for the flt to load. We have a rather crude saying here in the US about "beating a dead horse", the point is that I was just curious about a possible cause for this anomaly, since someone else was also having the same problem, but it is just an annoyance, it will not keep me from using the program or purchasing some future upgraded program. I appreciate your taking the time to pursue this, I consider it a victory when a customer gets treated fairly and with respect.Regards,LarryMoBo nvidia 680 SLIRAM 2-1 Ghz pc 800 DDR 2CPU Intel Q 6600 quad core 2.4 GhzGPU nvidia 8800 GTS OCOS XP SP3FSX SP2
  6. Version 4.2.8.0 which I believe is the most current.LMoBo nvidia 680 SLIRAM 2-1 Ghz pc 800 DDR 2CPU Intel Q 6600 quad core 2.4 GhzGPU nvidia 8800 GTS OCOS XP SP3FSX SP2
  7. Hi JD,You may miss this reply, didn't have a chance to test your suggestion for a while. Unchecking the display text does help the program move along once started, but still have the problem of slow loading of saved record and the mesg that RC was unable to load flt, but it does load after you click OK. Also when shutting down FS RC does not shut down, and when I force the closing I get a "program not responding" window. So, I guess it's not 100%, but does work other than these annoyances. Will check to forum for any future posts on this.Regards,LarryMoBo nvidia 680 SLIRAM 2-1 Ghz pc 800 DDR 2CPU Intel Q 6600 quad core 2.4 GhzGPU nvidia 8800 GTS OCOS XP SP3FSX SP2
  8. >is the display text option checked on the options screen? That is correct.Larry
  9. Hi JD, have you found any answers to this...I have been having the same problem for months...possible after I had to do a reinstall of the program. It does load the flight, but things work slowly, ie the options to respond to a clearance take a few seconds to come up. Thanks.Larry
  10. This should be hopefully my last post re the scenery DB. I did upgrade RC for both FS9 and FSX to the v4.3, the rebuild worked as expected for FS9, but at first I got the "run time error" thing for FSX, found that Makerwys.exe was not installed in the FSX folder, took care of that, and the rebuild worked fine. Thanks again JD and Ray for your help, these forums I believe are essential, not because you make a crappy product, but because computers are so ######y. I wish my 777 had this kind of support.Regards,Larry
  11. JD, I've actually made some progress by upgrading to v4.3, still some glitches which I will try to work out and then get back. Thanks for sticking with my problem.Larry
  12. JD, I did re-download the file and unziped to the folder Flight Simulator 9 which contains all the folders ie aircraft, gauges, etc and other config and .exe files. Still get the same response that it is not in FS path. The version is a CD 4.2.3831.Larry
  13. running xpI am the default user and administratorIt installs to c:program filesrcv4, when I start the program it does not ask where FS is, if that is what you are asking. I always have FS running before I start RCmakerwys.exe is in C: along with Runways.txtLarry
  14. Once again I uninstalled RC and removed makerwys.exe and all the files that were installed when I ran the program in the FS9 folder (runways.csv, g5.csv, etc.). Reinstalled and there was no Makerwys.exe in FS9 so I moved the one downloaded from the link JD gave me, tried to run the rebuild scenery DB and got the same response. I think there is something going on, maybe unrelated to RC that is causing the problem, so I don't expect to solve this any time soon. Thanks for your help guys.Regards,Larry
  15. I am going to have to leave this for a day or so, but wanted to reply. I assume the root is C:Prog...MS gamesFS9, that is where MakeRwys is, looks like a small "windows" icon. Tried the Rebuild and got the same response, .exe not there. I am currently running the CD v4.2.3831, assumed that 4.3 was only necessary for FSX, which I had installed with no problem before I uninstalled it all. Anyway, will check back later tomorrow when I have time to start over. Thanks,Larry
