1) i wouldn't go over 2x. 4x might result in you not getting credit for checkpoints progressed2) change the rc keys on keyboard screen to something like ctrl-shift-1 and ctrl-shift-23) no, but you will be able to in v5. (over a year from release)jd

3. Is it possible to request "direct to" from the controller?jd has asked me to add some further information to his original answer to this question. Although the current version of Radar Contact does not have the full "request direct" routines being developed for version 5, it does have a method of requesting direct to certain waypoints during the en-route phase.If you go to page 2 of the RC display (you'll need to press the '9' key to get there) you'll find a menu entry named 'Dir Ckpt'. If you select this, you'll be presented with a list of the available waypoints from your flight plan. thanks petefor some reason i was thinking about controller initiated direct to future checkpoint. that is going into v5.you've always been able to request direct a checkpoint in v4.sorry, my badjd
