2 questions about approaching airport and v5 compatible with fs9?

Featured Replies

Just curious i f idon't want to fly a star will i get vectors like the simplicity of default fs9 atc to get me lined up for ILs approach or a possible visual, if my last leg waypoint is miles and miles away? Say the plan end way ahead of time. 2. Will a star or any approach be easy to do with RC without approach charts?Actually 3rd question will v5 be compatible with fs9?ThanksIm new to all this!

your last checkpoint should be as near the destination airport, that is a best practice for radar contact.stars end at the point you contact approachif you do nothing, approach will give you the vectors to the intercept heading to the runway2) you don't need any charts. approach will give you necessary vectors to the runway3) at this point v5 works for fs9. there will be a couple of features that will only work with fsx, but they are not that dramatic, and you won't know you're missing them in fs9have you read the manual, or flown any of the tutorials. a lot of effort went into both of them (manual and tutorials), and are designed to help you with questions like thisjd
