Calling all techies and coding gurus

Volunteer Opening:  IT Director

AVSIM is a diverse community with many talented individuals.  While donations and ad revenue pay the bandwidth bills, there's one crucial piece to keep this site going full speed…  We are seeking an additional volunteer! 

AVSIM calls all experienced techies and coding gurus to apply for our open IT Director position.  Documented experience in the following areas is requested:

·      LINUX CENTOS 5 OS

·      Apache Servers

·      The typical aps found on the CENTOS 5.3 LINUX OS.

·      WEB MIN

·      MY SQL

·      Ethernet Systems

·      PHP & HTML

We ask you to be available on average 5-10 hours a week, or as needed, to assist with maintenance of our existing systems as well as enhancing any areas you may find need some dusting up.  AVSIM exists in the cyber world, and as such, IT is a crucial part of our team.

We are calling all community members with this type of experience to please consider applying and helping your fellow enthusiasts continue to enjoy AVSIM's services.  You'd not only be helping give back to the community, but you'll also be a part of an amazing tight knit family here on the AVSIM Staff!
