DHC-3-1000F Otter *** RPM reading ***
Hi Milton. Thanks a lot for your answer. I tried your tips but, didn't make a difference.I changed the propeller diameter and ta_dammm..., it works perfectly now. The prop diameter was too large for the prop MOI.

DHC-3-1000F Otter *** RPM reading ***
Hi simmers.I have a RPM Indicator reading problem and don't know how to fix it.Steven Grant's DHC-3 Otter 1000F has a max_rated_rpm of 2200 in aircraft.cfg and the reading stop at 1500. I changed it in *.cfg and tried different datas in *.air file but without any success. Is there somebody who can tell me what and where modifications I have to do to fix it?Thanks in advance for your answer.

xml sound question
Hi gang.To use the FSSound.dll module in FS2002.cfg, you have to create a section named &l;OLDMODULES&r; and under enter your cmd.Ex.:&l;OLDMODULES&r;FSSound.dll=1

Can someone please explain
>Or are you suggesting that by setting the default Window00 >to 'cover the entire screen and by using the Views Eyepoint >parameters to make the necessary adjustments, that then both >WindowXX views will have the same perspective?Right on Bill. If you want keep the same perspective with all views you have to adjust the default view SIZE_Y to 6143. this one is strictly for the front view wichever the window panel you are using. In this manner, you'll have the same perspective view with the main and co-pilot panel, the same then when using the W key.PS: Excuse my english, it's not my base language.

Can someone please explain
Hi Pete,The outside view for the main window is set in section &l;Default View&r; SIZE_Y=6143 in the panel.cfg. With this setting, the outside front view will be cover the entire screen behind your panel. For sure the dash board will be too high. To adjust it use the section &l;Views&r; eyepoint=long, lat, vert from datum in the aircraft.cfg.

Fixing the jumping horizon
Hi David.I have an answer for your hic with the Beaver panel. The first thing to do, you did it.>>> X=0>>> Y=0>>> SIZE_X=8191>>> SIZE_Y=6143 <---But you have another thing to check in the panel.cfg file: the &l;VIEWS&r; section. Take a look of this pic.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e3cb2f36a0973e2.jpgYou have to set the VIEW_FORWARD_DIR pitch at 0.00 or put double slash at the beginning of the line to desactivate it. That's all.
