  2. Hi Guys,Well, thanks for all the come-backs. It is no longer on my Hard Drive. With any luck, someome will tweak a 757 aircraft so the Real PIC Panel will work...untill then I will wait. This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  3. Hi Scott,I could not agree with you more... my first thougt was about " Wilco ". I do have 767 PIC and it is a great panel. Back in FS2000 days I used the 767 PIC panel in a few 757 aircraft, but I have not found a 757 aircraft for FS2002 that will support the 767 PIC panel 100 percent. This panel just might due untill then. I have not installed it as of yet, thought maybe I could get a few comments first. This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  4. Hi AllJust wondering if anybody has given this panel a go?http://www.fsterra.com/2002/may/757pic2.zipThis Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  5. Hi Ken, and thanks so much. You answer seems to make sense to me. I will do that in FS_Meteo...easy to do as well. Thias really is a great forum and people like yourself make great! You are worth a point at least! This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  6. Hi Ray,I said for best results...meaning if it is dark you should have better chances to see the flashing and the bolts. you should be able to see the bolts in the day time as well. This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  7. Hi Richard, I as well will not fly without the FDC...in fact I had the honnor of being on the beta team. Glad you are enjoy the FDC, the program has lots of great features. I do understand what you mean about the checklists. As you say lots of different panels and some do not have the " beacon light switch " I really would like to have the switch hust to turn on the " beacon light " I do have a work around and that is to just use a default aircraft and trun on the " beacon light " then change aircraft to one I want to fly. My hope was / is that I could use a keyboard command to turn on the " beacon light " instead of doing my work around. Seems like it is not possible. :-( This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  8. Hi Richard,I do understand what you mean!Maybe Microsoft should change it
  9. Hi Richard,Sounds great, but I for one fly using Wx and FS_Meteo. Seems to me that ( playing god so to speak...changing the weather )and going into the tabs to change the winds is a bit of over-kill when it come to " as real as it gets " . I guess it really would be cool if a pilot could change the wind direction to land at any given runway. This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  10. Do you have the time set to night ? This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  11. Thanks for the reply sir...This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  12. Hi Kadam.Yeah, it has happen to me lots of times on approach to KLAX rwy 25R. ATC tells me ok to land, I say ok. and the next thing I know, I am told to land at RWY 07L...drove me crazy!. What to do is this: when you are told to land look what the message says. wait a few seconds before you answer. I think you will notice that the meassage says something about staying in the traffic pattarn, if you wait a few seconds you will see " clearred to land " message. give it a try !I think it is one of those ATC problems that will be corrected in FS2004. All in all, the FS2002 ATC is very nice IMHO.good luckThis Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert

  15. Hi Gunney,My Heart Goes Out To You...I can think you have tried about everything, but have you tried running in 16bit color and installed a very safe driver with your grafic card such as the 12.90
  16. Hi Ray,Make sure you have thunder stroms set in the weather section. It will be best to set the time to night for best results...you should see flashing in sky as well as bolts of lighting and turn up your sound for the thunder! This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert

  20. Hi all,Just notice a up-date for FSScene. I am just wondering who has the scenery installed and is it really that much better/worse then the default scenery, and the effects on the framerates. It would be sooooo great if a screen shot could be posted by a user. I am thinking of investing in FSScene, but would like to have some user thoughts on it first...thanks.This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert

  23. Hi All,Is there any different BMP for FSNav. Something that looks more like it belongs to the aircraft panel. I seem to recall a picture that showed a switch on a panel to turn on FSNav...just trying to make FSNav look better on my panel...it is a great program! This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  24. Hi All,Thanks so much for the replies. All of your answers were very helpful in my decession to have both...maybe!This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
  25. Well, still the question remains the same...is both needed. Fifty dollars to get moving maps in FlightMax, FSNav is complete!, but no weather radar in FSNav. Soon FlightMax will be FS_Meteo friendly...major cool. That Makes FlightMax a must! The point and click feature on the FSNav moving map is great, all the info you need with a mouse click. FlightMax is a bit of a chore when it comes to mouse clicking with all the different features. Well, I have purchased FlightMax a few weeks back, now I have given FSNav a good run through. I figure I have ten sessions left before I need to register the program....what to do. FSNav cost 30 and FlightMax Maps cost 50. Come to think of it, you can not click on the FlightMax moving maps the way you can FSNav moving map! This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert
