Is it possible to drive the auto pilot using FS Nav or Reality XP Garmin??? If so what are the settings??Bill M

I understand what you're trying to do increase frame rates. I to get low frame rates when I switch between 2D and VC. But your solution is only a band aid. Setting the swap file o a fix size eliminates windows from taking over and really reducing resources by trying to maintain what it thinks it needs for memory. There's a XP tweak that you can make to force XP to use your insttalled memory before trying the swap or page file. By default no matter how much memory you have installed, XP will still use the swap file. The tweak stops that and make XP use system memory first and page secondary. The low frame rates I suspct is a software problem with AC. When I switch to VC on other AC, I maintain about 16 to 20 FPS with sliders up to full.Bill M

When RC leaves radio freq to get weather when landing where does it get weather update from? I can hear FS ATc reporting weather along with RC reporting. But for some reason RC ignores FS runway landing info. How can I change this??Bill M

Thank you Sir for getting back,I found out that my problem was the realism settings. The gyro was set to max, which was causing the AC to drift when AP was engaged. By pressing the "D" key put the AC back on course.Bill M

Yes Sir the auto pilot master is engaged. I can control ALT and pitch without any problems. When I activate heading hold, I se the normal wing waggle. Then it turns left and heads 20 degres.

I 'm getting very frustrated with the Auto pilot. According to manual, when I want to set heading, I press CTL H. When I press that the AC always turns left and fly head of 20 degress. I manually bring it back around to correct Flt plan course press heading hold and it goes right back to 20 degress left. Have I missed something in the manual??Bill M

Hello JDMaybe you misunderstood what I was asking. During final approach the co pilot hands the comm radios over to me. What I want is the co pilot to handle the radio, while I fly the plane. When I try to switch to radio resposibility back to the copilot, it keep switching it back to me. On the ground, I can handle talking to ATC if that's the way you set it up, no need to change that. Just flying on final.Bill M

Is there an option to stop the copilot from switching the comm control back to me during final approach?? And when trying to switch back to copilot she switches it right back to me. Very annoying when landing.Bill M

Is there a sound update so when I switch to external or spot view, I get the same engine roar I get in panel view?? Maybe this benn answered already.Bill M

Ok, I got the left engine to start manually. I guess it was my fault, I was pressing the mesh switch down instead of up. I see now that this is a three way switch also. I guess I was use to starting the RD4 so much I ran into a brain #####.Bill M

Yes, I Iwas unawware of the three way switch too. However I did figure it out. But still to no avail I cannot start the left engine manully. It sounds like it want to start, but just peters out. I switch to right engine, manually, it fires right up.Bill M

I read the manual. I think I'm following the procedures correctly. I tried starting the left first with no luck, however when I switch to the right, It fires right up. I'm at a loss here. If I press ctl E, both engines fire right up.Bill M

I'm having trouble starting left engine. According to check list, I start the right onr first, then the left. The right starts with no problem. But the left side I prime and press the mesh switch nothing happens. I do hve the mags set to both.Bill M
