  1. Thank's for the reply ... With the help of the behaviour dialog: The "non working" CLR button has some logic that seems to simulate a long press that cannot be triggered with the IE. But I could identify the correct BVar, it's: AS1000_MFD_1_Clear_Push Thomas
  2. Hi, I'm trying to bind the buttons of the G1000 MFD of the COWS DA40 to a stream deck via aao and the stream deck plugin. All works fine but one thing: I'm using input events - these should be AS1000_MFD_1_SOMETHING. And they all work as expected except one button: The CLR button. The event should be "AS1000_MFD_1_CLEAR". When watching thesimulator events I can see this event ist triggered when pushing the button using the mouse in the virtual cockpit. But when I try to trigger the event via a simple AAO-Script: 1 (>IE:AS1000_MFD_1_CLEAR) nothing happens. All other buttons are working fine (AS1000_MFD_1_ENTER; AS1000_MFD_1_FLIGHTPLAN, ...) - it's only CLEAR that is not working. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, Thomas
  3. Hi all,the X52 HOTAS from Saitek ist now out for some while but I haven't found too many opinions on it. In some of the few reviews I have found it is descriped as "unprecise". How is this HOTAS compared to - for example - the old X35USB? Is there any alternative to the X52 (besides the X45)? Thomas
  4. I have same problem here :( Everything with active camera is fine but the fly by view. Thomas
  5. Hello,I just found out that the Powercolor cards are striped down versions with a memory clock speed of 200MHz (sometimes advertised as 400MHz due to the DDR memory). The "normal" 9600 pro has 300MHz/600MHz, the non-pro 200/400 with a slightly lower core clock. So the Powercolors are somewhere between the non-pro and the pro-version - probably nearer to the non-pro. Aktually it is not that easy to find these numbers and I am not totally sure that these are true. But in the end I think this is correct. Thomas
  6. Thanks for the reply. I think I will go for the 256 OEM.I know there were reports about problems with the ATIs and FS9. Is it correct that the latest Catalyst drivers did solve these problems? Thomas
  7. Hello,I'm thinking about replacing my GF3Ti200 with a new video card (for use with FS9). What I am looking at in the moment are the Radeon 9600 pro cards - they are getting cheaper and cheaper and seem to offer a good performance (I know the 9700 pro is the better one - but they are just too expensive). What I am confused about are the different types of 9600pro cards. Available at our local dealers are:- a Sapphire 9600pro 128MB for 163 Euro- a Powercolor 9600pro 128 MB for 138 Euro- a Powercolor 9600pro 256 MB for 154 EuroNow ... - does the Sapphire offer anything worth the extra money (besides Tomb Raider 3 which I don't care about)? Is there any use for the 256MB version vs. the 128MB Powercolor? Thanks for any comments, Thomas
  8. >First of all I think that you need to have the AC 2004 in>order to have the Approach camera functionality.AC 2002, the latest version for FS 2002 already contained the approach view. The way to get it to work is the same as with AC2004.My problem with ActiveCamera always was that I could not pan with the mouse - zoom is working OK, but not panning. But as it is possible to use the keyboard to do so this ain't such a problem. Thomas

I do get them without any changes to aircraft.cfg. Just fly high enough and in the right weather conditions. Yesterday I took of from PANC (Anchorage) heading to KSEA and around FL300 I had very nice contrails :) Thomas
  10. Same here on Windows 2000. With SR 1.0 + mini 1.1 I had no luck starting the left engine. Again the 1.1. SR did solve the problem. Thomas
  11. thanks to anyone giving an answer. I'll take a look at the demo. Thomas
