Wing Views ?
Hey Tony,I have Active Cam and use it to Navigate through the Virtual Cabin, I was thinking more for the 2D Cockpit view. I would like to replace my Rear Left & Rear Right view for an over the wing view. I know how to remove the bitmaps and such but do not know the view settings to have it over the wing. Thanks for the suggesions though !!Steve B CYHM

Wing Views ?
Just curious, has anyone worked out the settings in the Panel.cfg to have an over the wing view ? I like the default view ok looking back towards the Engine / Wing, but would prefer to have one right over the wing to see the flaps and spoilers. Any information would be greatly appreciated.ThanksSteve B.CYHM

Boeing 737 inflight recorded videos
Hi Rlk,I own the ITVV Concorde Video !! This is by far the best video I own in my collection !! If you are a Concorde fan you have to get this. It is approx 5 hours long on 2 VHS tapes (I think you can get it on DVD now ?) anyways you will get almost a 30 - 45 min long explanation of everything on the outside of the Airplane and how it differs from typical Sub Sonic aircraft, the best part is they do this at the Maintenance hanger so you are not standing beside the plane on the ramp with a bunch of noise in the background, they even go as far as opening the engine covers off the bottom and take you right in to see the engines and how they operate etc... You then will get to do the flight from London to JFK and the camera is on for a lot of the flight, and they start to explain everything there is to know about the Concorde and how to operate the cockpit until they land in JFK. Then the next tape is the Return leg from JFK - London and you will get the same type of tour during the flight but spend most of the time with the Flight Engineer and learn practically every switch he has and how to use them !! I have to say it is quite the Engineer panel WOW !! If you have any questions about this let me know.. but trust me you WON'T be disappointed !!!Cheers,SteveCanada

Boeing 737 inflight recorded videos
Hey Richard,I agree it is a tough call, I can tell you the "GO 737" does have lot's of coverage of the FMC operations, now some of this is similar to the NG FMC but a few things aren't the same on the NG. Now the thing that concerns me about the GOL video from World Air Routes above is that most of the Flight Segments they show you are 8 min or so in length which is about enough time to have the camera on for Takeoff and Landing.. not sure that you will get the "Technical Overview" you are looking for ? Just go to that link and look at the "Chapters" section mid way down the page and you will see what I am talking about. Sorry I am not more help with finding you a 737NG video :) But I can say that "GO 737" will get you started to understanding the 737 and how the crews operate it.ThanksSteveCanada

Boeing 737 inflight recorded videos
Hi Richard,The 737-300 and the 737NG series (600,700,800,900 etc..) are a bit different in terms of Cockpit looks and certain things like Navigation displays and some systems are a bit different. If you are interested in a good 737NG video I would suggest http://www.worldairroutes.com/VirginBlue.html This video covers the 737-400,700 and 800. This will give you a view of the older "Classic Style" cockpit (The 737-400) and the "Next Generation cockpit in the 700/800 series, as found in the PMDG 737NG. I will warn you this video is not as detailed in the Technical areas like the "GO 737" is. You will get to see plenty of the cockpit and scenery around Australia but not get as much technical info about the systems and FMC etc... Hope this helps a bit with your decision. On a side note World Air Routes appears to have quite a few different 737NG type videos available but I have only viewed / own the one I linked above so I can't comment on the others. Let me know if you would like to know anything else :) Happy flyingCheers,SteveCanada

Boeing 737 inflight recorded videos
Hi Richard, I happen to own the "GO 737" VHS and it was VERY well done. You will get a nice insight into the B737-300. You get a nice mix in this video with lots of technical information and how the airplane operates, great ATC coverage to hear what is going on. You will go on a flight with the Crew from London Stansted (EGSS) to Lisbon Portugal and then the return trip back to Stansted. I think when deciding which video you want to purchase you should look at possibly which type of Aircraft you are interested in ? There are a lot of excellent videos similar to this one that have Great technical information, ATC coverage, and great quality. I would take a look at http://www.itvv.co.uk/, this is the company that produced the "GO 737" video and many other great Aviation videos. Every one of the Videos I have got that were produced by this company were A+ quality. Also check out www.justplanes.com in their "Cockpit Video" section, I have also found these to be excellent quality. Let me know if you have any questions about these I would be more than happy to assist.ThanksSteveCanada

FS9 - Overhead Panel Issue
Hey Guys ... first let me say this is my Favorite FS Addon to date :) You guys did a heck of a job !! The only issue I appear to be having since installing the Aircraft into FS9 and applying the SP1 is that the Overhead Panel seems to "hide" behind the main panel ? I have tried to remove the patch with your Uninstaller and re installed but no luck.. I thought it may have been FS9 so I even re installed it but same deal.. The plane still works ok it is just a pain to have to hit Shift-2 and hide the main display to use all of the Overhead Panel functions.. Has anyone seen this ? any ideas how to fix this ? http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/28537.jpgThanks for your help in advance and thanks again for such a great product..Steve B.CYHM
