  1. Randall,The Texture Enhancer program can be downloaded from the Avsim library. It can be found in the FlyII Scenery download area under TextureEnhancer.Ray
  2. Thanks guys,I'd seen that 'integrate' somewhere but assumed that it had happened automatically - dumbass - after that was completed the render went as expected. Took 2:24 for the global tile, I guess now I'll have to go take a look. I did only use the generic textures though. I'll need to try to find what the best textures for each tile is going to be. I presume the best guide would be maps??.Randall I do believe that I have seen your texture packs in the FlyII Terrascene or miscellaneous area of the library, I'll be checking it out.As an incidental question, has there ever been a standardised settings for the CH Flight Sim yoke. Many thanks.Ray
  3. Many thanks to Randall Rocke for supplying me with the US Data dvd's for Terrascene. After a few tribulations with one of my computers I embarked upon my Terrascene generation process. I was terrascening a Global Tile 169,156 (from Mickeys Maps). To keep it simple I used the default settings when setting up the project. I downloaded the relevant files from the data dvd and then started the render process. The render process progressed for a short time and then the following error message occurred:tk.ts.d.a IOExceptionC:TERRASCENE2TEXTURESBASESWAMP-BOG.JPG - THE SYSTEM CANNOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED.Checking the base folder reveals only four (4) jpgs, Roads-base, Roads-dark, Roads-light and Roads-medium.Have I missed something in my installation of terrascene or am I in the proverbial 'between a rock and a hard place' situation.Ray
  4. Randall,I have emailed you as requested. Not having used the Avsim email process I trust that you will receive it.RegardsRay
  5. After several years away I loaded FlyII back onto a computer in an attempt to revive my flight simming. I had previously generated a large number of global tiles using Terrascene which I had backed up with 3 seperate backup programs and copied the resultant backups to dvd.As Murphys law would have it, none of the backups could be read when I tried to restore them, hence I was thinking of recreating some of the tiles. However when startng Terrascene 2.1 things worked ok up until the Render section when errors started occurrig during the doownload process, specifically with the www.wings.... site.Is Terrascene now a defunct program or is there a magical fix for the render process downloads.Ray
  6. Having just decided to resurrect FlyII after many years I have completed a fresh install of FlyII and Terrascene 2.1 onto an XP system, used only for Fly.I had previously created quite a lot of Terrascened scenery, which I resurrected from an old archive but when re rendering the projects I continuously came up with the following problem, presumably as Terrascene/Fly attempted to load the created output:Error C3DMODEL::LOAD Can't open vor.smfFile Smodel.cppLine 3701 C3DMODELI then tried to create a new project which did all that I expected it to except that it crashed with the same error message after the scenery creation was apparently completed.I have read all the previous posts with this error but none seems to fit in with what I am trying to do. Has anyone any idea as to how I overcome this problem or even get my scenery into FlyII or am I wasting my time and effort trying to resolve this.Ray
