    I can't find any ref to ROTOR_BRAKE in the dropdown menu for Button Assignment.

    I am attempting to allocate a button for Arm Speed brakes in the PMDG B738  I have the Event numerical for this.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thank you for your detailed response.

    You prompted me to look at event viewer and I was getting these spurious NVIDIA errors.

    I updated my Vid driver and now P3D has loaded.!!

    I moved around through a number of airports that I had loaded via Lorby.

    All looks fine.  I believe things are in order.

    My sincerest apologies for tasking you with my query, unnecessarily.

    Thank you for Lorby Addon Manager it is a great application.

    I have had an unfortunate event attempting to install scenery that I deduce has ‘scrambled’ my scenery set-up in P3D v5.  P3D will not now load.

     

    I am a new user of Lorby Addon and still learning, so to speak.

    I could see that at least 8 of my sceneries were missing, all previously installed via the ‘add to scenery cfg’ method, not using Lorby.

    I have gone about reinstalling these sceneries using Lorby, synched the simulator in ORBX and ensured that the order is correct at the Lorby ‘Scenery’ tab.

    I still can’t get a load with P3D.

    I suspect much is array with cfg files, Indexes etc., and I am unsure how to go about fixing.

    I could uninstall/reinstall P3D but I think I would still have an issue with the scenery configuration.

    I am attempting to avoid a clean install of P3D and a reinstall of my relatively large collection of addon sceneries.

     

    Can you give me some guidance on how I might go about fixing, if this is possible with Lorby Addon, please?

    Any assistance will be appreciated.

    Folks

    I am getting a Simconnect error on start up of P3Dv5.

    I cannot connect aviaServer to my licensed applications (PMDG, FSL etc) via my Android tablet.

    Is this the reason why?

    All my other add-ons appear to be working ok. (Active Sky, LNM EZCA etc)

    I just want to ascertain if this is so before spending anymore time trying to get this to work, as AviaServer has worked faultlessly for me in the past.

    Any input would be appreciated.

    I have had the need to reinstall MSFS2020.

    I thought that under the previous install the above folder appeared within in the Community Folder.  Not so now.

    It is present under the Lorbysi AAO installation.  Should it be copied over to the Community Folder, or should AAO ver 2.26 be reinstalled?

    All my previous settings for the PMDG DC-6 have been retained.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    After our lodging reports to QW Tech Support of the issue, Lars has responded with:-

    Please try the following:

     
    Navigate to 
    \Prepar3D v5\QualityWings\Redistributables\
    and run the following file: 
    Crash_Reporting_v1.4.0_P3Dv5.exe
     
    (it will be a hidden installation and not give you any kind of feedback but should be done within a few seconds)
     
    Please let me know if RemoteCDU works afterwards.

    If I could join here with the same issues as Skip.

    I am running the latest ver of QW787 1.4 with P3Dv5.1

    All I get of the CDU is the left hand keyboard with no keys etc.

    I have gone through the actions listed with the Dispatcher and high res indication, with no results.

    I agree with Skip re FSUIPC settings.  I too, had to redo mine so QW have definitely done some work with the gauges on the 1.4 update.

    This might help you to troubleshoot the issue, Mark.

    Happy to send logfiles, if this helps.

    Snapshot21, can you confirm that you have applied the soundpack to to AH DC-3/C47, please.

    The readme with the soundpack refers to the Manfred Jahn DC-3/C47.  I guess that it could 'fit' with the AH model.

    Allow me to attempt to explain this, folks.

    It is all rather embarrassing!

    I did the 4.4 Client update only.  Flushed the Shaders and deleted the p3d.cfg, as I believe you should.

    The following day, I decided to do ‘Content’ for 4.4.

    I did NOT do shaders and the .cfg.

    I think this is possibly where I erred.

    Since that time, I have had Blue Screens, CTD’s, NTDLL’s abound all pointing to Drivers.

    As my vid driver was rather old, I suspected that and updated to the latest release 417.35.  I flushed the Shaders but continued to have all above mentioned errors.

    For some reason, I also decided to delete the p3d.cfg file as well. 

    Reasoning can often lead to odd things at my age!!

     

    As already hinted at, on reflection, I believe that it is not necessary to delete the cfg file on a driver change, only Shaders.

    Well I did delete the cfg and I think that is what I should have done after the ‘Content’ upgrade.

    I guess that is luck but comes with considerable embarrassment.

     

    On the positive side, I have just completed a 2 hour flight YBBN-YMML without a hint of any sys problems.

    I am happy and my apologies for confusing the ‘masses’.
