  1. One could say you're part of the occupy movement? Maybe you should occupy a job. Then you might understand that being compensated for your time and effort is what it is all about.Eric has the right to be compensated for what he has offered. After all he did put in the time and effort, both of which equal money. Also, what right do you have to complain? It's 8.90€, or about $12 U.S. Drop in the bucket.
  2. I am seriously considering purchasing this add-on. I have it downloaded and installed. I am led to believe the pushback feature is a freeware portion of the add-on, as when I click the option to allow it to run, I do not get a registration warning as I do with the other features. However, when I attempt a pushback, the pushback is not steerable. Can anyone please confirm that upon entering a valid purchased registration code (after purchasing of course) that the pushback feature will then work?
  3. Currently in development;HS-125 series. Starting with the old classics first.Andrew

  6. >Well actually you'll find the opposite is true. Commercial>ops are there to make money. The autopilot coupled to an FMS>will fly the aircraft much more efficiently than any human.>The autopilot will be generally be engaged at about 700' aal>and disengaged anywhere between 2500' and 50' aal (or not at>all on CAT III autoland approach).>>The irony is that many simulators (not FS!) now resemble the>actual operation of a/c so closely that the JAA does not>actually require any manouvres to be done in a real aircraft>either for the initial type rating not for recurrent training>on those simulators. So the need to hand fly to stay current>is reduced even more. You're only partially correct. In the simulator we have to generally hand fly a single-engine ILS, we have to do steep turns, generally two 180s, one to the right, roll left all the way into the left steep turn. Also, we have to fly 3 types of stalls. One clean configuration, straight ahead. One in approach configuration, Gear down, 20 degrees of bank, with approach power set, and one in Landing configuration, full flaps, gear down, power just slightly under what would hold Vref on a 3 degree slope.AndrewWestwind PIC
  7. >When I put FS in slew, the plane will slowly rotate in pitch, tail >going down, so I assume this is the stability problem that's >causing the ground sink>Errrmmmm...No, this isnt a problem with Stability.. check your joystick/yoke calibration... this sounds like its the real culprit... the flight model has absolutely nothing to do with SLEW and vice-verse.Andrew
  8. The Vans Aero Company MD-80 series is just superb.. BUT, it lacks a good panel. If only PMDG could do a MD-80 series.. now THAT would attract a HUGE fan base..but what i'd REALLY like to see, is a Simulation of the aircraft I fly as SIC on, the IAI-1124A Westwind. Either that a Hawker 700.. Yea, more corporate aircraft need to be done, but I like ones that you have to fly, really all ya need is a flight director, and maybe a coupled Global FMS so you have a mix of old and new. Our Westwind has Collins Pro Line Avionics with 5" FD-109 flight directors, Primus 400 color radar and a Universal UNS-1K FMS w/ SID/STAR database and IFR approach enroute certified GPS... like a side, a bit of the old and the new.. It may all be round dial with the exception of the FMS, but it's a helluva lotta fun to fly! ;)anyway, just my 2 cents, keep up the great work PMDG!Andrew Wolcott
