Dear Forum it is time to get a new computer and i thought somone can give me some good help what hardware i should look for i started looking arround an have some ideas but not sure if it is worht or what fits best together Motherboard: Asus P8UZ777, 2011 ASUS TUF Sabertooth X79 or ASUS p9X79 Pro Processor: i7 3770k , i73802 i73930 or shoud the i7 3970 CP coolong: Antec 920 H20 or Scythe Mugen 3 SCMG 3000 System Memora: DDR3-Ram Kit 16GB 1866 MHz or DDR-Ram Kit 16GB, 1600 MHz System Power: ATX 1000 WATT cooler master silent pro gold series 80 plus or ATX580 Watt Be quiet straight power e9, 80 plus Gold Graphic processor will be the the Nvidia GTX 680 2GB harddrives i do have a kingston SNV425S2128GB ATA Device Samsung HD322HJ ATA drive ST3250823AS ATA device as the investment would be quite intensive i thouhgt someone could help me where it makes sense for the FSX to invest and what is not really necessary any help is very much appreciated thanks in advanced Werner

First thanks for your fast reply sorry that I have not given all the information... a) it is with all AC add ons as well as orginal FSX AC B) Ruders are moving but not to full extend Joystick i am using = microsoft force feedback. Calibration of the joystick looks good.. any idea what can be the reason - thanks brgds Werner

I hope this is not a stupid question but since 2 days i face a problem when on the ground. I am unable to make a tight turn e.g. to the gate or if i have to turn on the runway like in TNCM. I use FSX checked all settings but do not find any solution.... if someone can help would be very much appreciated thanks for your support and have a great day Werner

Hallo after lot of helo from Paul i managed to run my FSX without any bigger problems the last month - since 2 days, after I updated Mega Airport FRA to Version 105 i can not start FSX anymore. I receive a fatal error and than a screen is poping up :"This feature requires that (smartassembly) is available on this computer" Even de-installing the update and Mega Airport FRA FSX is not starting anymore....I have found some information about this problem but not one which could help me...any idear ??System :i7Ram 6 GBNvidia GeFroce GTX 275Win 7 64bitor your support thanks a lot in advancehave a great dayWerner

Paul I did 2 flights over the weekend arround 8 hours in total without any problem but i will try what told me anyhow I put BP settings back as described by you ... Highmemfix=1 under graphics is set.I will clean my drivers as advised now ... and will try FSX will keep you informed later today to your question Windows Edition Windows 7 Enterprise N Processor i7 CPU 940 2.93GZ I tried to attache a file with a screen shot to see how it looks - when posting i received the this reply " you arn't permitted ......" does this answer your question? thanks for your great support - not normal in other forums i can tell you have a great day Werner

Hi Paul thanks for yur fast reply very much appreciated ... It is now working after i removed the bufferpools - need to play arround as not sure if this was the right action as FSX is now very unstabel - after loading an add on AC like the level d or QW 757 FSX often crash - gives me just an information that a grave error occured. Do you have any idea what the reason cold be? by the way UAC is turned off.... thanks for your support and help have a great day Werner

Dear all Since I re-installed FSX on my computer I have only problems with thexture / graphic - problems i never experienced before. I took lot of time to install the FSX - after each installation I used the standard flight in FSX for 10 to 15 minutes, i always rebooted my system after each installation. I went through all kind of settings, i used Flusifx but could not solve the problem ... I can't add a file to the message always receive "you arn't permitted to upload this kind fo file" What i get is different kind of girders, sometimes a wall of trees or a complete wall in grey or different colors - Following add on installed: UT2LSZHKJFKKATLAESand level d 767 my system:Prozessor i7 CPURam 6 GBWin 7Nvidia GeForce GTX 275 FSX is installed on a separate drive If someone can help me to solve this problem would be very much appreciated thanks in advance and have a wonderfull day brgdsWerner

Hi not sure this is the right forum but saw some topics with fatal error, and I do use win 7. In Dec I changed to a new computer and spend a nice amount to have a system which will allow me to use FSX without problems. Every time I ended up wiht the same problem that i am running out of RAM.... sometimes after 2 or 3 hours sometimes after a few minutes or just after starting the programm. attached some information abut my system and the response i do get. I spend hours reading through different forums, tried lot of things but always witht he same result.Now i hope that someone can hlep me to get FSX running smooth ...... i doubt it is my system ...For any support thanks in advanced...Werner

Hallo Bob I just installed FX on my new system and it works very fine - but i experience same problem as you described. I have surched the forums and did some changes in my system but nothing chaned. I hope someone can help me with a problem i have since i had to set up FS 9 due to a problem i could not solve. This freeware, together with AES became my favourit airport in FS9 everything worked perfect and near to reality. After i had to set up FS 9 I expereience the problem that the scenery is not working properly. I attched the picture how it looks like. Someone know what went wrong after the new FS 9 set up. Since I have bought the FS9 its been running on my maching with lots of addons. Since I had to change my graphic card (Navidia GeForce 8600GT = the new graphic card) FS 9 is crashing and freezing my computer. I installed FS several times but could not solve the problem. Last weekend I have set up my computer complete new, hoping that this willsolve the problem. But no success FS still crashing and freezing my computer. I assume the problem is the new Navidia GeForce 8600GT - It run for years what could be the problem - the grapic card? Someone who could help me - and what is the best graphic card for the FSMy computer is 3 years old AMD athlon 65 Processor 3200* 1.99 GHZ 2.00 GB RAMAny support is very much appreciatedthanks for your help in advancedWerner

After starting the engines according to the manual, I can not move both throttles together. I have used the e + 1+2 keys but it is not working.somone who knwos what i do wrong ?thanks for your supportWerner

i hope that someone in this forum do have an answer. I posted this question already in the PSS forum but it always was taken out - I only posted a problem flying the 777 especially the version 300 above flightlevel 340 the angle of attack is between 4,4 and 5 which is absolutly not reality. with the 777 200 it is not so bad but still not realistic. can somone help me. since i donwleaded the 747f version i have problems using some keyboard entries. So i cant start FS-communication as the key "2" no reaction same with key L an others. re uninstalled both version re-installed it but without any change of this problem switching to another AC like PS777 this problem is not existing the keys 2 or l are workingSomenone who could help me what the problme might be. thanks for any supportWerner
