June 16, 201015 yr Hi not sure this is the right forum but saw some topics with fatal error, and I do use win 7. In Dec I changed to a new computer and spend a nice amount to have a system which will allow me to use FSX without problems. Every time I ended up wiht the same problem that i am running out of RAM.... sometimes after 2 or 3 hours sometimes after a few minutes or just after starting the programm. attached some information abut my system and the response i do get. I spend hours reading through different forums, tried lot of things but always witht he same result. Now i hope that someone can hlep me to get FSX running smooth ...... i doubt it is my system ...For any support thanks in advanced...Werner
June 16, 201015 yr Moderator Werner - if I'm reading it right you have a 32 bit system so:You have a few options and yes it IS your system.Best - get a 64 bit OS and expand to 6G ram2nd best - get 6G RAM and use the 3/G switch - if not using SP2 you need to make FSX Large Address Aware3rd best - use the 3/G switch - if not using SP2 you need to make FSX Large Address Aware4th best - turn your sliders way down.If you are not aware of it, google the /3g switch and you should find plenty of info- also google FSX Large Address AwareYou also should look at overclocking that CPU.Good luck!
