  1. HiMaybe you can help me here please John. I purchased the A320 series for FS2002 a loooooong time ago. When I moved across to FS2004 I never bothered to reload it.Now I have, but with problems. The mouse flicker was one, but that has been resolved. The other is the AP - it does not appear to be working. I can switch the AP and AT on, but they do not take control of the plane. Am I missing a patch or something for FS2004 ?RegardsTrevor
  2. HiI had a LG 19" Flatron CRT monitor on which I ran FS at 1600x1200x32 with a refresh rate of 100. It has now finally given up the ghost!!!I'm looking at buying a 19" LCD monitor. However, I need some advice. Most of the specs for a 19" give a max res of 1280 x 1024. Can one still run FS at 1600x1200 on these monitors or are the graphics at 1280 x 1024 on LCDs just as good as a CRT at 1600x1200 ?trevor
  3. You need the .exe files. They automatically take you to the site.
  4. Correct - the 747 is not compatible with FS9.Regards
  5. I tried to download my 777-300ER but got the message that access was denied as I have not purchased the product. However, I do have documented proof of purchase. I tried my Airbus ABPro and 330/340 and those two worked. Can anyone help please ?Thanks
  6. OKI'll stay with the 300ER and hope that PSS will come back on line in order for me to purchase the 200LR individually as their download section is working again.
  7. Is there anyone out there who is prepared to swap just the Model and flight dynamics of a PSS B777-200LR for a model and FD of a B777-300ER ?I'm looking only for the 200LR - as PSS no longer exists, the only place to purchase the product is from "just flight" and they only sell the full package - whereas I was able to buy only the 300ER while PSS was still around.trevor
  8. Is there anyone out there who is prepared to swap the Model and flight dynamics of a B777-200LR for a model and FD of a B777-300ER ?I'm looking only for the 200LR - as PSS is gone, the only place to purchase the product is from flight1 and they only sell the full package - whereas I was able to buy only the 300 while PSS was still around.
  9. Hi FelixYes, I still want the file. Please send it to gabiwen@yahoo.com Thanks
  10. I'm looking for the fix to the cs 707 AP problem regarding pitch control. I believe its entitled "AP fix" and is about 140kb in size.Does anyone have this file to send to me please ?Thanks
  11. It appears that CS did release a fix for the 707 AP problem regarding pitch control - AP fix (140kb). Is there anyone out there who has this file and prepared to e-mail to me.Would be appreciated.ThanksTrevor
  12. I know that the 757's thrust settings are expressed as EPR values. But what are the N1 readings in the cruise phase at Mach 0.80 ? The PSS model gives a N1 reading of between 77% and 80%. What are real world values? I thought the N1 readings were between 83% and 87%. Is anyone able to shed any light on this?ThanksTrevor
  13. I had serious problems regarding porpoising with the 777-300ER, only to discover that I had a file missing (AP co-effs.dat) in the PSS/boeing 777 folder. With the file now in place, I have a stable flight. What a pleasure the 777 is now. I am really enjoying flying her. So much so that I now want to purchase the 757 from Just Flight. Is the 757 worth purchasing and does it (the Just Flight download version) include all the latest updates from PSS before they closed shop? I prefer flying short routes and the 777 is not really suitable for this.Good, sound advice would be appreciated. Please no comments from disgruntled winnies!!!! Just a straight OBJECTIVE answer would be most welcome.ThanksTrevor
  14. Does the PSS B777-300ER have a file named "AP_control_coeffs.dat" in the PSS/boeing 777 folder ? I believe the 757 does have one.If so, I do not have this file. Can someone please tell me where I can get this file. I only have 9 files in this specific folder.ThanksTrevor
  15. I am most frustrated with regards to the FD of the 773ER. I have a very serious porpoising problem at altitude.I know that somewhere out there is a solution.Could someone please, who has a very stable FD for the -300ER, send me a copy of the FD files. I do have the original -300ER package and can produce proof of payment if necessary. All I want is a stable FD for this otherwise beautiful plane.ThanksTrevor
  16. I am looking for repaints for the T7-300er - user edits. I know Ben Jones had a temporary link to some. Does it still exist - if so, where do I find it? Where else will I find user edit repaints?ThanksTrevor
  17. HiAt this point in time you will be unable to do a manual departure - one of the many bugs which are being attended to.What should happen is this. Manual departure - A/T set to ON - F/D off. Set thrust. At Vr rotate. Then when the AP is engaged, pitch mode (VS) and lateral mode (HDG/ATT) SHOULD engage. At the moment this does not happen. So the bottom line is that until another lot of fixes come through, you are going to have to use VNAV or FLCH and LNAV for all your flights. You will also notice that the F/D does not work correctly. After T/O it should command the pitch for V2 + 10 - it doesn't - another bug.As far as SIDS and STARS are concerned, I recommend that you download the latest AIRAC cycle from Navigraph / Navdata(801). This has all the SIDS and STARS included. Use the cycle for PIC/PMDG - this one works in the iFly FMC.As far as the roll rate is concerned, I am currently working on the FDE but I think this is actually a gauge programming issue. I have already illiminated the pitch sensitivity issue on T/O and climb out.At some point (????) we'll have killed all the bugs - then it will be a case of sit back and enjoy the ride!Trevor
  18. I received a reply from Shen today and he has indicated that he will try and resolve the bugs still plaguing an otherwise excellent panel. Once sorted out, I believe this panel will be unbeatable (IMHO).Trevor
  19. Hi TomHave you been able to contact the developers of the iFly package? Is there any indication that they will release patch 3 for FS2004?There are still many, many bugs in the panel and FDE. What their manual says and what the panel does are two different things. I am prepared to make a list of bugs after testing, but will they be prepared to attend to them? I have contacted them and await their reply.RegardsTrevor
  20. You need to first align the IRS from a cold and dark start before you get a PDF and ND display. Without alignment, you also won't get V-speeds in the FMCRegardsTrevor

  22. My previous video card was a GeForce 7200 GS 128MB with turbo-cache. I have just upgraded to a XFX GeForce 8600 GT 512 MB. The problem is that I do not really notice a difference in performance. With a screen res of 1600 x 1200 x 32, antialaising on & controlled by FS and with downloaded weather, I was down to 8-9 frames in heavy clouds. With the new card, frame rate is unchanged. Is there something I perhaps need to do ? eg. uninstall and re-install FS9.Do you get dud new cards - doubt it or ?My computer specs are:Pentium Intel Core 2 duo 1.86GHz2 GB system RAM @ 667Ge Force 8600GT 512MBAny help will be welcomeThanksTrevor
