  1. I copied the camera-definition which Bill Leaming described to my C172 aircraft.cfg file. But nothing changed, still 2D-zoom 1.0.Then I changed the zoom with the wheelmouse and saved it as the default flight. I opened the FLT-file of this flight and did what is described in the post onhttp://www.fsdeveloper.com/wiki/index.php?...e_cameras_views, chapter "Change the aircraft.cfg camera definition". Copied over the translation and rotation to InitialXyz and InitialPbh.I also copied the VC cameradefinition of the camera.cfg file to the C172 aircraft.cfg file, start the flight, adjust the look on the panel, saved it as the default flight and the rest as above. At last I got what I want!!!

  2. I have tried to make the zoom of the view out of the forward window of the 2-D cockpit and VC both 0.70. I changed the values in the two camera.cfg files, but only the VC-zoom changed. The 2-D stays at 1.0 zoom. Does anyone knows how to change this???

  3. I have a very strange problem. After installating FSX works fine. Then I saved my flights and after that the rudder trim of the C172R and other aircrafts go automaticly to max down or max up. It reacts on the controller on my yoke, but after I release the controller the trim walks alway up or down???When I delete my saved flights everything is back to normal

  4. Hallo,Indeed the textures of this new scenery are not of top quality, but everything looks a lot better than the blocked textures of NL2000.It is possible to use the NL2000 airports into the VFR Nederland scenery. Follow exactly the instructions described on this website:http://www.freewebs.com/rubenvans/fs2004.htmAlso is it possible to use Eindhoven v5.0 in this scenery. Please post other sceneries which are compatible.

  5. Hi Rich,I have a Leadtek Wingfast 6600GT PCI-e card and an not very happy with it. In the two games I'm playing I get irritating image flashes:- HL2 in the first screen after startup ( the man with the red valve in front of him) the borders of the image are flashing a few seconds. Also scene changes are instable.- Flight Simulator 2004: the same, going from the screen where you choose your flight to the choosen scenery, the image flashes very irritating. Also the fonts gets less sharp. Going back to the desktop (with flashes), the font sharpness pops back to normal.I have tried all drivers from 66.93 up to 76.10, but found no difference.Do you have this problem too?Motherbord: MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum, nForce4 PCI-eProcessor: Athlon 64 3200+Memory: 2x 512 Crusial BallisticLeadtek Winfast 6600GTWindows XP Pro SP2Del 1905FP digital inputow

  6. When FS2004 switches between menus, for instance from the first screen to the choosen scenery, the image is flashing very irritating. Also the fonts get a little blurry.Without FS2004 everything runs ok.I have tried some different nVidia drivers, but no improvementHas anyone the same problem or even better has a solution?MSI K8N Neo4 nForce4 PCI-eAthlon 64 3200+2x 512 Mb Crusial BallisticLeadtek Winfast 6600GT PCI-eDell 1905FP 19" TFT digital input

  7. In the FS2000 aircrafts all views have there one bmp-file.In the panel.cfg file of the Dreamfleet 737-400 you find for instance for the left and forward left views the folling lines:[Window Titles]Fixed Window35=LeftFixed Window36=Forward LeftVIEW_LEFT_WINDOWS=35 VIEW_LEFT_EYE=0.0, 0.0, 4.0 VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_WINDOWS=36 VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_DIR=7.0, 0.0, 330With these lines it's possible to change the seat height to get a better outside view.In the FS2004 aircrafts (for example the C172) these lines are missing. Only bmp-files for the panel are in the panel.cfg file and[Views]VIEW_FORWARD_DIR= 3.0, 0.0, 0.0VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=1.0I don't know how to change the seat height for all the directions accept the front view.

  8. With the older FS planes it's was easy to change the 2D view height in all the 8 directions out of the cockpit in the panel.cfg file. With the newer planes in FS2004, for instance the Cessna Amphibian, this is only possible for the front view over the panel. Am I right that the other 7 views are defined in the mdl-file. Is it possible to change these view heights and if the answer is yes, how can this been done.

  9. I have hoped the framerate would be better than in the previous version, but they aren't.Normally I use a scenery complexity of very dense. In the default Seattle scenery I get with my computer (XP1800+ , 9700Pro) and my other settings about 16 fps. With NL2000 v2.9 I get 8 fps and at EHAM it drops to 5 fps. With German Airports 4 installed (without NL2000) I get at Maastrichta framerate of 20 fps (locked at 20). With NL2000 installed 8 fps. When I give GA-4 a higher priority then the NL2000 Maastricht scenery is gone. Slewing to the gates gives 15 fps, standing at Rwy 4 11 fps.Same with Rotterdam. Slew to about 300 feet, looking over the airport buildings en the city in the background. 6 fps. Scenery complexity back to zero, no airport buildings anymore, fps 11.It's clear that parts of the non airport sceneries are the cause of the low framerate.Because it's impossible to delete the EHAM scenery in NL2000 because of the unflyable low fps, I consider to deinstall this software with pain in my heart.
