Forget it. PMDG does nothing for the owners of this aircraft. We are already waiting years for a patch for the bezel shimmering in the VC. PMDG used this airceaft to study their technique of designing an aircraft. We had to pay for that and after that you are on your own. I think this is a shame. I have heard nobody about the big differerence in color between FSX and P3D. FSX has vivid colors, P3D is far to dark. Really ugly. It's look like there is a black mask over the picture.

If you see that the VAS is nearing 4 GB (mostly on final), what can you do to lower the VAS . Save the flight, end flight and after that load the saved flight, didn't lower the VAS very much. Save the flight, shut down FSX and restart it and than load the saved flight, lowers the VAS very much, but than you loose you IVAO connection. After reloading the flight and connect again to the network is very annoying for ATC. Is there a better solution for this problem? Wener Verwaal

I'm using version 1.0.2.4 of randolph vallee's Jetstream 41 Digital Speed Card. I also have the elevation and the temperature error. The author promissed to improve the program, but I can find it anymore. Does someone knows of a newer version and the place to download it? Werner Verwaal

For the 737NGX and de JS4100 I use the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and two Saitek throttle quadrants. I use a number of the switches on the throttle quadrants for the landings-, taxi- and strobe-lights. Moving the switch up, light goes on, moving the switch down, the light goes off. This works perfect for the JS4100. But I don't know how to do this on the 737NGX. In the FMC I saw under External Light only the possibility to toggle the lights. For instance Ctrl + L toggles the landings lights on/off. So moving up light on , moving up again lights off. Also FSUIPC give me no solution. Is there a possibility to switch the lights as I described for the JS4100?? Werner Verwaal

There are a lot of camera files you can download and import for all kind of aircrafts, but what I'm missing are the vibration (RND-files) files, especially for the 737NGX and the JS41.

Excellent utility, especially when you have a lot of scenery, the group option is than very usefulWerner Verwaal

It would be far better to have the push back which you can use via the IVAO interface. Before push back you give the direction for the turn and than press the "Start push back"" button. When the plane is at the turning point, push the "Start turn" button. Very easy to use, no push back distance needed.Werner Verwaal

In FS9 I get with the PMDG 737-800 during take-off call-outs for Vr and V2. I miss this in the 737NGX. Furtheron the FMC give a warning sound for instance when I have to change the MCP altitude. This is on the 737NGX also missing.Do I have to change a setting or is this a normal situation? Werner Verwaal

When I click on the CDU and than undock it, I can pull it to my second montor and it works ok. But, because the CDU is used very often and the information is importent , I want the CDU , let say, 1.5 times as big.But when I resize it with my mouse (draw the right edge), the CDU doesn't work anymore or even the windows is black. When I push the buttons nothing happens, but when I push the CDU back to my main monitor I can see that the CDU is still working.I use a Geforce GTX 470 with a Samsung 22" monitor 1650x1050 32 bits 60Hz (main monitor) and a Dell 19" monitor 1280x1024 32 bits 60 Hz (second monitor).What is the better way to resize the CDU?? Hi GraemeBR, The strange thing is that when I move the trottle forwards the Stab trim moves a few point forward, but when I move the throttle back, than the stab trim moves again a few point forwards.I use a Siatek SX 25 throttle and a CHProducts Yoke. In the Settings - Control, there for the Siatek no assigments for the the elevator trim, but for some strange reason I found that in FSUIPC the throttle axis was assigned to the elevator trim!!So problem solved. I have set the stab trim to the value of the FMC (somewhere around 5.00), but when I move the throttle forwards, then the stab trim wheel moves forwards to zero and I hear a warningsound.On the runway I have to correct the elevator trim back to about 5, else the aircraft don't want to take off.What's going wrong??? I want to undock the 2D CDU panel and put it on a second monitor. Furtheron I want to enlarge this panel a factor 1.4.I changed the window_size of window02 (CDU left) in the panel.cfg of the 800NGX window_size= 0.20052, 0.50000 towindow_size= 0.280728, 0.70000.When click on the CDU, the panel has the right size, but undocked on the second monitor, I cann't press any button. Same problem here, I lose in windowed mode about 5 fps when I move my mouse from my second monitor to the 737NGX. I haven't seen this with other aircrafts. Solution would be very nice Werner Verwaal

In the Instruction pdf of the new 737NGX I read that is better to opt out the AV program for actively scanning the entire FSX folder.I have McAfee VirusScan v. 14.5Does anyone know how to do this Werner Verwaal

I have also problems with the KLM livery. After loading the PMDG livery I load the KLM livery and get the message: unable to start the flight model B737 8K2NGX KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Winglets.In the event viewer of WIN 7 x64 I get a message about a crash of FSX.exe. Werner

I have downloaded FaceTrackNoIR v1.30, after installation I copied the v1.50 update to the FaceTrackNoIR folder. On the website they say you have to load the Simconnect.ini file from the Settings folder inside the FaceTrackNoIR program folder.I only have 4 ini-file: default.ini, freefalcon.ini, flightgear.ini and ArmA.ini. Should it be there?In the game protocol I choose SimConnect FSX.I use a Logitech Quickcam E2500. After starting FSX nothing happens. The FaceTrackNoIR windows is all the time opened.Please some help!Werner Verwaal
