Hi All; I am considering the purchase of NGX, however I have an older system. I am currently running an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 at 3.0ghz, 6 gb ram, a Gforce 9800 GTX Pro card with 1 GB ram (vista 64...ya I know). I get good frame rates with PMDG 747x and LevelD 767x. I have been reading about tweaks to FSX to maximize performance. I have seen a lot on line, what are the best ones and where can I look. I don't want to buy this product and then complain about it's performance when I haven't done everything I can do to make it work right. Thanks bgps

Thanks...I have always used 4.0 as my reserve. Is there a standard that is normally used for the reserve?BGPS

Just wondering when flying a long trip, say from Toronto to Vancouver I at cruise level get a message from my FMC saying "insufficiant fuel". There is enough fuel on board. I use the fuel calculator and am using FS Nav for to plan the flight. This message remains until just before the TOD, then it disappears. Am I doing something wrong? BGPS

Sorry i have been away for a few days. This is happening when I am making a new flight, so I will try (when I get a minute) to turn the generators on. This only happens though with the 800/900 series. The 600/700 series works great. Thanks

Hi...I know there have been a few post similar to this, but on my 737-800 series the auto-throttle won't engage. Prior to taking off i click the A/T button, and it flashes and turns off. Just to let you know I have had the NG series for a while and it works fine. But I am new to the 800, and can't seem to get it to work. I suppose I have donw something wrong, but what? Can anyone help!BGPS

Hi I am also a big WJ fan...having been on them 4 times in the last month I can tell you they are fantastic. I also had the chance to see the cockpit while on the ground in Winnipeg, and I am astonished at how acurate the PMDG model is. Question does anyone have a WJ 800 or 600 series? Or are they in the works at PMDG? As you know WJ is getting both models. CheersBruce
